From February 2nd to 4th, 2024, Yerevan will host the international ice hockey tournament "Yerevan Nights 2024".

ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT

The tournament will feature the participation of 4 teams:

• The Armenian national team

• Slippery Ice (Russia)

• Solar Bears (Limassol, Cyprus)

• Olymp (Russia)

Among the participating teams, the Armenian national hockey team will be represented. For them, this tournament serves as a preparation stage for the 2025 World Championship. The team will be composed of the top players from the Armenian Hockey League under the guidance of Vadim Guskov.

The tournament will have special guests from the most renowned hockey YouTube channel 'Slippery Ice,' including Channel One commentator Denis Kazansky, hockey world champion Andrey Nikolishin, and Match TV commentator Sergey Gimaev Jr. The 'Slippery Ice' hockey team will feature sports stars such as Euro 2008 bronze medalist, UEFA Cup, and UEFA Super Cup winner Roman Shirokov, and Euro 2008 bronze medalist, Russian champion, former player of 'Marseille' Dmitry Sychev.
