Hakob Karapetyan: "Losing in the playoff finals should be forgotten like a bad dream"

News
The Lions forward summed up the results of the final playoff series against Pyunik, and also shared his expectations for the new AHL season.

— The Lions could not defend the title. What are the main reasons why the team did not raise the cup?
— The first two games did not work out for us due to the absence of the main goalkeeper. The first two defeats were very disappointing, they were very difficult for us. It was morally difficult to overcome myself.
It turned out to make a good comeback and snatch two wins. The fourth game turned out to be very emotional. We didn't leave anything from Pyunik. To win 11:3 in the final series is worth a lot.
I personally didn't like the refereeing, there were too many deletions. For example, they were removed for simulation, although it is very clearly visible on the replays that the stick fell under the skates. We were removed for this. The referee categorically did not want to watch the replays. I also didn't like the lack of a CDC for the episode with the fight in the fourth match. Tigran Manukyan, in my opinion, should have missed the fifth game.
I'm not looking for someone to blame. Of course, there is our fault in some ways. We couldn't get together, including for the last game. I didn't have enough physical strength. This is already history, and we must forget it as a terrible dream. "Pyunik" congratulations on the first victory in the AHL.

— What changes will there be in the squad for the new season?
— We have strengthened a little, but in general we have a well-organized team. We have a home environment in our team, you can say, so there is no point in changing anything.

The new season of the AHL starts on December 7. The Lions will play their first regular season match on December 7 at 11:00 a.m. They will play against Pyunik.
