The Pyunik forward summed up the results of the victorious playoffs, and also shared his expectations for the new season of the Armenian Hockey League.

— Name the three main reasons for Pyunik's championship.
— The first is our team spirit, team cohesion. From the first game of the final series, we came out with a single fist and fought for each other in every moment. We helped, insured our partners and managed to win due to this. The second is the dedication of each individual player. A lot of single combats were won, a lot of throws. We caught ourselves and realized our moments.
And the third, of course, our fans, who drove us forward. With such support, you have no right to lose.

— During the second season, Pyunik has formed a good army of fans. Why do you think people like to cheer for the team, go to matches?
— There really are a lot of people rooting for us. It is very nice to see and hear such support from the stands at the matches. I think people like our team because of the attacking style of play with a lot of shots on goal, because of the emotions that we show on the ice, and, of course, because of the dedication of each individual player in the team.
Because it doesn't matter if we win or lose, we always fight to the end. As Sergei Nailevich Gimaev said: "The audience will forgive you everything, but they cannot forgive indifference." That's why the fans love us.

New season schedule

— What does the championship mean to you personally?
— The championship brought me a lot of positive emotions, great joy. It is very prestigious and honorable to become the champion of Armenia, the winner of the Grigory Mkrtchyan Cup. This is exactly what all the teams participating in the championship strive for.
And it's great that it was Pyunika that achieved victory. The team has come a long way to the championship and deserves it. It's all the more cool to realize that this happened in my first year of joining the team.

— Do you think the competition in the AHL will grow? Or will we see a pair of "Pyunik" — "Lions" in the final for the third time in a row?
— The competition will grow. There will be more fighting, more spectacular hockey. Even from the last regular season and the playoffs, it could be seen that the average skill level of players in the league has increased.
And I think this trend will continue in the upcoming season. Of course, I don't know about the final pair, but I will do my best for Pyunik to be in the final of the Grigory Mkrtchyan Cup again.
