Everyone is welcome to participate in the contest! To enter, submit one or more mascot designs by December 31, 2024. Participants can send an unlimited number of entries. The main requirement is that the work must be the contestant’s original creation. All submissions will undergo strict moderation.
The proposed mascot should combine elements of Armenian culture while remaining relatable to people of all ages, nationalities, and professions. Submissions can be in color or black-and-white, in any artistic style, including digital graphics, but AI-generated designs are not allowed.
All moderated entries will be showcased on the social media pages of the Armenian Hockey League and the Armenian National Ice Hockey Team. The winner will be chosen in several stages:
◽️ Fans will vote to select the top 10 designs.
◽️ An expert jury will shortlist 5 mascots, which will no longer compete for the top spot.
◽️ Representatives of the Armenian Hockey Federation (FHA) and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) will select the winner from the remaining 5 finalists.
The winner will be announced on February 15, 2025. The creator of the official 2025 Ice Hockey World Championship mascot will receive a $1,000 cash prize and 5 tickets to all tournament games.
